7 Secrets For A Happy Marriage.
Has the flame in your marriage died? So where did all the Passion go? All the initial “fire” that kept your love alive – where on earth did it all go? And WHY ON EARTH did it go?
Well, have you ever experienced a Failed Relationship or are you currently in a failing marriage?
If not, you are one of the very lucky ones! Marriages fail every day, every year! That is a FACT!
So what makes a marriage fail?
Lots of factors.
1. Incompatibility of the partners.
Where did you meet your partner? If you met in a workplace, or as classmates or as friends of friends, maybe you may find that you are fairly compatible. As peers, you probably went on the same leisure activities, played same games, enjoyed common outings. If on the other hand you met without ever having had the opportunities to work or play together, you may find that your compatibility level is quite low. It would mean that You would need to find out what activities you will both love.
2. Cruelty from one or the two Partners / Violence.
If one of you is cruel in the way you deal with your partner, then there is a big problem. While some people might tolerate some domestic violence from their own partner, it is highly unacceptable a s a way of life. Certainly, not from one who once claimed to love you!
3. Being Inconsiderate.
Being inconsiderate means being insensitive to your partner’s needs. Lack of Emotional Intelligence is one of the most cited causes of divorce. When you get “attached” to a person, you expect that person to take the time to understand your emotional graph – what makes you happy, what makes you unhappy and what gets you totally enraged.
4. Impatience.
Being impatient with your loved one is a sign of anger. It’s a sign that you are not able to give your loved one the space or time they need to get something right or to complete a task they started. It will result in your shouting or belittling your partner. To be a good partner, you will need to develop patience and let the other person be.
5. Selfishness.
Most people think they are not selfish, when, in fact, they are actually very selfish.
So what is selfishness?
“Selfishness is being concerned excessively or exclusively, for oneself or one’s own advantage, pleasure, or welfare, regardless of others. Selfishness is the opposite of altruism or selflessness; and has also been contrasted with self-centeredness”. Wikipedia.
Selfish can easily kill the passion in your relationship.
6. Communication Failure.
Do you find it difficult to communicate effectively with your partner? If you cannot communicate effectively you will not have the full cooperation of your partner because he/she will not understand what you were meaning to convey. So, you will be frustrated and your partner will also be frustrated.
